Yesterday I got kicked out of The Avenues for having a wooden sword on my back. Why was I at the mall with a sword? Well, I got stuck in Saint Augustine and finally decided to ride a bus back to Jax. It was filled with old people talking about the Power Ball like some sacred chalice that could grant wishes. Most of them seemed to know each other and wished each other good luck in their search for the numbers to reveal their grail when they would depart the bus. It was an odd Camelot gathered in the public transportation system.
Anyways, after reaching the end of the line, I entered the mall. The security eventually caught up with me to escort me out. During the long walk, I chatted with the officer about martial arts and a gang of shoplifters who had migrated to this mall from the decay of Regency. Regency Mall has been slowly dying, turning into a land of shadows and broken windows. Now these vandals have moved to more prosperous land. They come in a store, groups of ten or more, grab what they can, and scatter like newly born spiderlings. They’re all women. I was told if I see a girl with a tattoo of a spider on her chest, beware.
